Tuition Fee Structure (Local Students)
The following fees are applicable to all postgraduate research degree candidates who commence their program on or after 1st January 2026.
- Application Fee: Rs.500.00
- Annual Registration Fee: Rs.1,000.00 per year
- Examination/Re-Examination Fee : Rs.1,000.00 per examination
- Annual Tuition fee for normal duration: Rs.175,000.00 for the 01st year & Rs. 150,000.00 for the subsequent years up to each degree’s normal duration.
- * The 1st year fee include the fees for two modules * 2nd & 3rd year fees include the fees for a module each.
- Tuition fee for excess Period: A subsequent year fee of LKR 150,000.00, pro-rated for the period exceeding the normal duration.
- Transfer Fee (Where a transfer examination is required): Rs.10,000.00

The following fees are applicable to all postgraduate research degree candidates who commence their program on or after 1st January 2026.
- Differential Fee for Normal Duration: US$ 3000 Per Year
- Differential Fee for Normal Duration: Annual Differential Fee pro-rated excess duration beyond the normal duration
- Differential Transfer Fee: US$ 150

- Application Fee: Rs.500.00
- Annual Registration Fee: Rs.1000.00 per year
- Examination Fee : Rs.1000.00 per examination
- Re-Examination Fee: Rs.1000.00 per examination or part thereof
- Annual Tuition fee for normal duration: Rs.100000.00 per year
- Tuition fee for excess Period: Annual tuition fee pro-rated excess duration beyond the normal duration.
- Transfer Fee (Where a transfer examination is required): Rs.7000.00
